moZaiKa's influences are born from the likes of Bjork, Portishead, Massive Attack, Lamb and Tori Amos.
and seeks to create a synthesis of music and multimedia forms including dance and visual art. Classically trained, Me-Lee, brainchild of moZaiKa is from the Blue Mountains, Australia, draws on all artforms to create not only music but a multi-sense experience for the auditory, visual and proporioceptive systems of the human mind. moZaiKa's first single "Follow In Me" was launched in August 2007 encompassing the multi-media aspect for the first time with projections and art exhbition (Rachele's inagural) and full light show. Album to come in 2008. Me-Lee was part of an all girl band between 2001 to 2006; "Me-Lee's Mosaic". Wanting to evolve towards a more electronica sound, she became solo and called the act moZaiKa and worked closely with Rachele Wildmare (violinist and artist), with the debut performance was at the prestigious Sydney venue The Basement in 2006. moZaiKa launches from their mountain studio habitat to the outer stratoshpere of music and art on planet earth with their single "Follow in Me" which explores the value in following one's own path of creative integrity.
