Yes after hours, days, weeks, in fact year (!) of slaving in front of pianos, synths, computers, microphones and the cello, Me-Lee has put together moZaiKa's first debut album. Fully recorded, engineered and produced by Me-Lee with a little extra help from Claude Hay.

Me-Lee tours to the UK and europe in September to promote the new album. See Upcoming Shows to see where she is playing

Who or What is moZaika?
Imagine being physically immersed in a cauldron filled with Bjork electronica beats and textures, angelic vocals of Portishead and then throw in splashes of Jackson Pollock imagery and Graham Murphy contemporary style dance. These are some of the inspirations from which Me-Lee, the brain child behind moZaiKa, draws on to create not only music but a multi-sense experience for the auditory, visual and proporioceptive systems of the human mind.

moZaiKa is a project that aims to collaborate with not only musicains but with visual artists, film makers, photographers, dancers, sound scape artists in fact anyone who is willing to cross and interchange the boundaries of multi-media and genre.

Primarily the music is an original blend of Alternative, Electronica and Classical music sometime experimental, always original.

Line up includes a core of classical piano, synths, electronica loops and Me-Lee's vocals and she can be accompanied by acoustic and electronic stringed intruments, electronic drummer and even giant sized projections of film, photos and paintings.

Primary collaborators include violinist and artist Rachelle Wildmare, abstract photographer Rae Stanton, and dancer / film maker Karen Crespo.

moZaiKa's first single "Follow In Me" was launched in August 2007 encompassing the multi-media aspect for the first time with projections and art exhbition (Rachele's inagural) and full light show. Album to come in 2008.
